Neovagina Creation For Females
Lee's neo vaginoplasty is a new method that combines a laparoscopic and vaginal approach to create a neovagina by grafting the uterine serosa layer from the rudimentary uterus and the peritoneum to line the vagina. Three patients underwent this operation, and they were monitored for four months to two years. A vaginal mold was used to maintain vaginal dilation for three months and then three to four times a week after that.
After surgery, the vaginal length was 6-7 cm and the breadth was 2.5 cm. There were no difficulties during surgery, and recuperation was quick. A month later, a vaginal examination revealed healthy vaginal tissue with no necrosis or infection. A long-term follow-up revealed no vaginal shortening or stenosis. Patients were able to have pleasurable sexual encounters while avoiding pain.
