Metoidioplasty
Metoidioplasty, also known as a metaidoioplasty, is a gender-affirming surgery for transgender men and non-binary individuals. The procedure involves constructing a functional phallus by releasing the ligaments that hold the clitoris in place, allowing it to enlarge and extend, resulting in a small phallus. It may also include the creation of a urethral extension using a segment of the patient's own tissue, which allows for standing urination.
